The NYU Tisch Freeplay Festival is an annual event that is produced, directed, and performed by the third year graduate acting students. Since its inception in 1987, Freeplay has given students the opportunity to evolve beyond the prepared curriculum, develop new work and collaborate with our peers in the Graduate Design Department.

The Festival is produced by Kimberly Gray and Katie Meister. All performances are at the Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway, 5th floor, in either the Walker Theatre or Shubert Theatre. (Nearest subway: 8th Street - R, W trains; or Astor Place - 6 train.) The Festival runs each day throughout the week, from 12:30 to 9 p.m, with projects presented in a daily rotation.
