New York University’s College of Arts and Science will host a public lecture, “The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment: A Tragedy of Race and Medicine,” by author James H. Jones, on:

Jones is the author of Bad Blood: The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, America and Its People and Alfred C. Kinsey: A Public/Private Life. He will be introduced by Dr. Rueben Warren, director of Tuskegee University’s National Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care and former director of Infrastructure Development for the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities at the National Institutes of Health.

'Journey’ - A Unique & Provocative Inter-Active Installation into the World of Human Trafficking

When: Running all day from Nov 10th - Nov 15th
Where: Right off of Washington Square in front of Silver

Located off Washington Square Park, Exhibit Runs from November 10th to 15th; the installation will be hosted by Emma Thompson and supporters

Journey is an installation that illustrates seven stages of a woman who was trafficked into sexual slavery through exhibits created inside seven shipping containers. Each container tells the powerful and personal story and of the brutal reality experienced by such women. The seven stages are Hope, Journey, Uniform, Bedroom, Customer, Stigma and Resurrection.
